Do it for her...

I never expected to be 'touched' by watching "The Simpsons". I guess if I said I shed a tear because I laughed to hard then it would be more convincing. But this was not the case...

It made me think of how much our parents gave up their own wants and needs just for the best of their children. What more our Father in Heaven who gave His only begotten Son?

It began with Marge wanting to spend the weekly family hour together without television. Lisa suggests to look through their family photo albums and while at it, there were loads of the first born, Bart and a lil lesser of Lisa and non of Maggie. Quite a typical scenario in most families huh? So Bart and Lisa commented on the lack of Maggie's baby pictures. So Homer starts his long winded story beginning with Marge's first conception and birth...

To cut the story short, Homer left his previous stressful job for his dream job, which however pays less. And coming to know that Marge's expecting his third child, he knows there's no way to support his family with his dream job. So he went crawling (literally) back to his old job and there his boss gave him a plague which reads: "Don't forget. You're here forever" to remind that he could never quit again. As Bart and Lisa still did not understand what all that had to do with all Maggie's pictures are, Homer just said they're in the place where he needs them the most.

And there at his workplace...

Isn't that just the sweetest thing?
