Not only are they to remind us of sweet memories and different moments in our lives, it also captures the essence of the emotions behind it all. All the funny moments, sad moments, successful moments, crazy times…it amazes me how it brings back those memories to life and it makes me cry just looking at it. Missing those who are not already with us, missing those who are still here but are at different parts of the world, and missing even those you still see everyday!
As the famous saying, a picture paints a thousand words, in addition to that, to me it also captures a thousand emotions. Emotions of which I will forever cherish be it good or bad for the journey that we have walked so far has mould us into the person we are today. Sure people may change, environments change, yet a picture captures that very moment individually despite the ever changing surroundings we may face.
It amazes me how a picture can tell so much when you take time not just browsing the photo albums or “My Pictures” folder but really to put yourself back into that moment and let it take you back to that time in life when you were just a baby, a child, a teenager, an adult, and look at all the blessings you have had with all the people you have come to know and found and kept and lost.
