MERDEKA!!! MERDEKA!!! MERDEKA!!!

Since it was a public holiday, my church had a family day cum baptism up in Genting (not something very patriotic but oh well, it was a time of fun and excitement but most importantly a time of significance for all baptism candidates). It was double the fun knowing that cuzzie Ale and another friend was joining =) p/s- Ale, nice attire =Þ

The journey was bearable not only because it wasn't as winding as camerons or frasers but rather because of the condition of the car which did not permit us to go up at a decent speed. But despite all that, we reached safely without the car being overheated and all. To start things off, there was a short singspiration, some stretching exercizes and a game of improvised netball. It's been a while since I played any sports. Needless to say, the next morning I woke up with some aches. Gah, I'm so UN-fit. =Þ Anywayz, here are some pics.

hmmm...could it possibly go in?Posted by Picasa

now where did the ball go?Posted by Picasa

Oh no, don't you dare come close to the ball. Mighty Joel with his cheeky smile, trashing his opponent with all his might.Posted by Picasa

Was taking some video shots while the game was on, one aunt came up to me and said "anyone who falls, TAKE!". If I was a wee bit faster, I would have caught some on camera =Þ But I guess I jsut did all of them a favour of not humiliating them further...nyahahaha =Þ

After all that fun and sweat in the field, we emerged to the pool for the baptism. This time around there were 13 candidates.

All the 13 candidates...excluding the 2 guys at both ends and the pretty young lady in the middle =) *giggles*

After all that, lunch was served. It was indeed a great day with good weather and nice clean cool air.

Dreading the day to end, as it marks the end of my holidays.
